Group Status
October 15-20,2004:
- Met with the client on Friday, October 15, 2004 at 2pm in the
Art Institute of Atlanta library
- Received crucial documents from client, both on disk and
hard-copy.
- Reviewed and came up with potential design ideas
- Class meeting on Wednesday, October 20th 2004
- Discussed client design options within the group
- Presented our goals to the class
October 13,2004:
- During class on 10/6 we decided on the following titles:
Emily Jerome – Project Manager, Usability Assistant, Technology
Assistant
Kristin Johnson – Technology Expert, Quality Control Expert
Siri (Tony) Choummanivong – Visual Designer, Technology
Assistant
Brian DeLoach – Information Architect, Usability Expert
A message board was set up for easy communication within the
group. All four team members have registered and have participated
regularly.
With input from the other three members of the group Kristin
created the portal, located at http://www.forever-euphoric.net/imd320/portal/index.html
.
After confirming the schedules of all team members, Emily called
the client on Friday, October 8 to set up an initial meeting.
Based on the client's schedule a meeting was set for Friday,
October 15 at 2:00pm at school. Because of a prior commitment
made known when confirming schedules, Brian will be unable to
attend this meeting. However, questions he has (including those
about IA) will be given to the group to be asked to the client.
The meeting will be recorded for Brian and the rest of the group.
The client sent preliminary content to Emily which has been
e-mailed to the other team members for review before Friday's
meeting.
Emily has e-mailed an agenda of Friday's meeting to the client
and all team members. Kristin has posted it on the portal page.
Goals for class on 10/13 will include brainstorming questions
for the client as well as reviewing sites recommended by the
client and all content provided.
